Have you ever heard of the “neutraceutical industry?” I hadn’t, at least I cam across the Essential Nutrition Law Blog. Wikipedia defines the term “nutraceutical” as a food or food product that provides health and/or medical benefits, including the prevention and treatment of disease. The Stoel Rives Nutrition Law team works with nutrition companies making these products, and on the blog they’re talking about such topics as manufacturing, nutrition claims, product liability, and trademark issues.
