Not So Cool

In its most recent list of top spyware threats, Webroot says that the CoolWebSearch browser hijacker may be the worst of them all. Make sure you are regularly using a spyware detection/removal program, and keep in mind that sometimes even these programs aren't enough. Some malware is so evil that it must be removed manually, or with special tools. I regularly use the Spyware Guide to learn about different types of spyware, and how to get rid of them.
