Perhaps the longest-standing piece of weblog etiquette is crediting links found via another weblog….when you are new, it is a respectful way to announce your presence to the weblog community. Once you have gained an audience, it is a service to your readers, who will be pleased by a pointer to another site that discusses the subjects they are interested in. And once you have built a steady core audience, it’s a gracious way to introduce lesser known weblogs to your readers and to others in your weblog cluster.
