Not a lot of blogs about the law of being incarcerated out there, but the Prison Law Blog is one of them. It aims to note major developments in the law governing prisons and jails, as well as provide much of interest to anyone interested in the American criminal justice system. The blog is written by Sara Mayeux, a joint JD-American History Ph.D. candidate at Stanford (and she has time for a blog, too?). You’ll find posts on parole reform, sexual assault in detention centers, and legislation, among others.
