Habeas, Inc. announced the development of a new spam fighter this week, and my tired brain is a little overwhelmed at the prospect. If you sign up with the Habeas system, your e-mails contain a little Haiku in the header (computer language you can’t see), that shows others that your e-mail is definitely NOT SPAM. Anyone who then uses the header without authorization will be in automatic violation of copyright and trademark law, and subject to up to a $1 million fine. It’s free to individuals, but $200 and up for bulk e-mailers. Check it out.
