I was trying to find some time to read all the articles on this week’s decision on jurisdiction for Internet libel, but it’s just not there. It’s a little scary, but not really surprising, that eventually a court somewhere would drag a defendant halfway across the world to defend its Internet postings.

For those of you who haven’t been paying attention, an Australian court held this week that Dow Jones (a New Jersey corporation) can be sued in Australia for allegedly libelous content posted on its website. You can read a copy of the opinion here.
