SearchDay reports that HotBot has renamed the engines it searches, apparently because of name recognition problems. It turns out users did not recognize the search engines Teoma, Inktomi, andFAST Search, but they do know about HotBot (powered by Inktomi), Lycos (powered by FAST), and AskJeeves (powered by Teoma). It’s all in the labeling.
