Today we’ll visit Coates’ Canons: NC Local Government Law Blog, a blog published by the School of Government at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.  The blog was created in order to disseminate information about a broad range of legal issues affecting local governments and other public agencies in North Carolina.  The Coates of the title is Albert Coates, the Institute of Government founder.  Recent posts include discussions on contingent fee audit contracts, zoning hearings, local management entity boards, and annexation reform, among others.
