Surf’s up, but who’s paying attention?

Fewer and fewer, it seems. A study by web analytics company WebSideStory find that fewer Internet users are “surfing” these days, preferring instead to go directly to the site they want. According to the survey, 64 percent arrive at sites through direct navigation — that’s up from 53% last year.
